Blogs in the Ideal Classroom

Using Blogs in an ideal classroom, would help me as the teacher communicate with parents and staff members on a regular basis and keep them updated on things going in the classroom such as Fun Fridays, Feild Trips, Homework, fund raisers or  just a reminder of crazy hair day. :)
